Mar 23, 2026
Rubén Bonet, co-founder and CEO of Fractus, shares his vision about the professional profiles that companies will most seek in the coming years in the first capsules of the series SME Voices – Driving Digital Innovation. The initiative aims to connect the academic world with the industrial sector to drive digital transformation and advanced technological skills in Europe.
Technology companies need engineers, scientists and digital specialists, but to turn knowledge into results, people are needed who understand markets, strategy, collaboration and innovation. This is explained by Rubén Bonet in the first capsule of the SME Voices – Driving Digital Innovation cycle, while in the second, published on March 20, he reflects on the technical and transversal skills that will be essential in the sector.
The capsules, which are published regularly on Fridays, will address topics such as the growing demand for qualified talent in constantly evolving technological environments or the hiring challenges that companies face today.
Born as a spin-off of UPC, Fractus is one of the pioneering companies in the development of antenna technology for smartphones, tablets and other wireless devices of the Internet of Things. It has a portfolio of intellectual property rights of more than 40 inventions protected through more than 120 patents and patent applications in the United States, Europe and Asia, and develops initiatives that bring the academic and business worlds closer together.
